HISTORY

Lumani was born to much older parents Beno and Shanny, who struggled for awhile to have a litter of their own. Sadly despite they had expected a litter of three cubs, two were stillborn - leaving their darling Lumani as the only survivor and their only offspring, as the heartbreak from the loss pushed them to never try again for cubs. Due to the fact they struggled for a child and the loss of two cubs from their litter, Lumani's parents were a bit overprotective of their daughter but they also raised her a bit rough to ensure she was tough and strong enough both mentally and physically to take care of herself. Both were proud of course when she took the path of a guard, as it meant she would learn how to fight and defend herself far better than her cubsitter parents could teach her of course.

Just before the winter hit the prides and effected food numbers for many, Lumani's mother passed due to old age and not long after Beno passed away due to heartbreak of losing his mate. Part of Lumani is thankful for this as she isn't fully sure her parents would have survived the winter, and the struggle between prides for food.
