HISTORY

After a cure for the sickness that hit the lands and the prides hard, with many lives lost and effected even to this day, Late King Hisada implemented a rule that Nguvu pride members must provide a cub, be it biological or adopted to replenish the number's lost. Kanu and his brother Kadiri were one of many products due to this new cub law, and while their parents were not in love with one another they co-parented the twins and were at least somewhat peaceful with one another. Though their father did instill into their heads that, the twins being males were to make his father's name and line proud and never bring any disrespect or shame to it - not that Kanu cared but he just did as he was told of course. Neither were sad when their father passed during the most recent winter that effected food numbers, a result of starvation with the lack of prey in the area.
