Banou was the second born of Fahari and Ataru's first and only litter of cubs. Her mother cared for her but only saw her as a spare heir in case something happened to Marini- as Fahari did not accept Kiara being the named heir. Despite their mother's hate for their Half-sister, Banou adored Kiara and often got into trouble with Fahari just for playing with Kiara, or hearing stories of the past from Penda- Kiara's mother. Growing up though she was pushed more and more to follow her mother's treatment of the mistress ad Bastard princess.
During their teenage years, Ataru was killed during the war against the Hyenas who attacked the three sisters during a huntress training season. With the death of their father, their mother Fahari rose to power and exiled Penda- as well as sent Kiara away to another pride. Not long after becoming a Young Adult, Banou was given away to The Kalani Pride to create an Alliance as she married a Prince from the Pride. Sadly, she passed away due issues during Labor along with a stillborn daughter, leaving behind her mate and two sons.
