Apple Orchard

I'm always telling myself that I'm going to /should create more original pieces...this time I actually managed to make something. Go me! It can be so difficult narrowing down what you want to draw and then actually creating something you're pleased with that looks somewhat like you had originally planned. For this piece, I only knew what type of color palette I wanted...I had also been itching to do a piece with a deer, so that worked out as well. I'm so happy that this just happened to flow naturally. This is one of the few times I've worked on an actual background as well. My last Sailor Moon one, while it did take me much work to get it to the final stage, was simple compared to this, so in a way it was my first real background painting!
