Im an internationally published, philanthropic pinup, and a pretty kitty with a heart of gold. I welcome you with hugs and a smile. ♥
I have always liked the pinup culture. From the paintings by Elvgren, to the Classic Coke advertising, to the war plane girls, and of course the classic Hollywood starlets. There is just something carefree and inviting about these women that I admire and find very inspiring. Just looking at their big smiles or their sparkling eyes makes you wish you were around them.
I decided to get back...into modeling for fun and I booked a shoot with the wonderful Chris Gomez, who does beautiful pinup photography, and I was hooked.
That is when I decided to use modeling as a tool to help people. My husband is a two time survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. The doctors figured since he was young and healthy that they would try a stem cell transplant. It killed off the cancer and nearly killed him in the process, in fact it did, but they brought him back, and he is cancer free today. I am constantly in awe of him. He is the strongest man I know and if he hadn't fought to stay alive I wouldn't have him today. This is why I decided to start Pinups Against Cancer. NOBODY asks for their dignity to be taken away. It's not fair to have to rely on everyone around you to do what you could have easily done for yourself. But cancer doesn't discriminate, and it doesn't care.
This is one big community and we all need to help each other in times of need. ♥
And now for the fun silly side of me:
I LOVE FAN ART!!!!!!!
I was born and raised in Washington "The Evergreen State"
I like long walks in the wooded mountains.
Dahlias are my favorite flowers.
I bake some of the best cupcakes you will ever taste!
I love rollerskating and hula hooping.
And most of the time I would rather stay home snuggling with my husband, watching a movie (that's not a chick flick), than going out.
