We noticed in round two that a lot of people had issues with some things, so we put together some tips to help you guys out!
A lot of you struggled with pacing: your rounds often dragged a lot in the beginning with content we tend to call "filler" - stuff that wasn't related to your own plot, character development, or the prompt. While small amounts of filler won't hurt your round and can be fun to read, we discourage spending more than a page maximum on any interactions or content not directly related to those three topics. Many rounds also came to an abrupt end with little room to peter out after a climax; while this is not always a bad thing, it is often less jarring to read a round that doesn't end simply with your character's victory, but that also shows their thoughts and plans after they win.
Excessive cameos or frivolous activities might be fun to include, but they can cause your round to become less exciting
