Don't Be ScaredThis is for the Bi-weekly Dose of Nivanfield #12
Summary: Piers wasn't a fan of Haunted House. He didn't believe in ghost and goblins and all those other scary things. So then why was he staying the night in a Haunted House with his leader and captain, Chris? Oneshot.
Don't Be Scared
"You're not scared, are you?"
"Of course not!" The younger male stood staring defiantly up at the supposedly haunted house that their comrades had dared them to go inside. Last year, Jeff, Marco, and Keaton had gone. And the year before that had been Finn and Ben. It was said that on this particular night, ghost and ghouls wondered around the abandoned house looking for lost souls to claim. Different with other company, the business in BSAA is more intense in the Friday. That said for Chris because there’s hard training in the morning and tons of paperwork in the afternoon until the end of the day. Especially as Alpha Team did a mission two weeks ago in Burma. The reports were tailing around after the mission, something Chris doesn’t look for yet always waiting in the end.
Piers’ performance in the other hand was getting better. The researcher found that Piers’ right eye got sensitive with sunlight so they gave him specialized sunglasses for doing missions. His right arm got better day by day but the researcher found that his right arm produces quite amount of electricity when he’s in intense situation. It was proofed from his advanced training results. Sorry, small prologue : This is the continuation of my Nivanfield fanficitons.
It was a regular Friday evening after doing work in BSAA Headquarter. Chris Redfield and Piers Nivans heading home from the office to their apartment in the downtown. They were having small chit chat on the way home. Especially they were pretty well separated on the headquarters lately. They discuss about Chris’ paper works, Piers’ training program and also training for the new recruitments.
Sometimes, when Piers done with his stuffs early, he went to Chris’ room to accompany him with his works. Sometimes giving Chris some advices that really useful for him to do his works efficiently. Chris woke up to a sharp pain in his side. He groaned out in discomfort before he even tried to move. His side hurt enough that he couldn't get comfortable no matter how he lied down.
"Finally awake." It wasn't necessarily a question but a statement as Chris tensed in surprise at the unexpected familiar voice. He looked over, eyes focusing on Wesker sitting in a lounge chair beside the bed, his legs crossed as he looked up from his book. "How do you feel?" It was hard to see if he was concerned underneath those shades.
Chris grunted feeling the place he'd been shot throbbing underneath the bandages wrapped around his stomach. "Like I've been shot," he said managing to sit up as he held a hand against his side. He was out of breath, sweating even from just a small action as sitting up in bed. He took into account all the things that had just past. From se

"Nivans." In a dreary office Piers sat patiently waiting, he was summoned as soon as he had finished his usual lengthy training at the gym, the field and with his sniper. Dressed in his forest green uniform, he sat forward tired, his hair slumping with him as well. He looked up and saw his sergeant approaching.
"Yes, sir." Piers immediately stood, giving a salute until his Sergeant waved him dismissively. An unusually large smile forming on his face which was uncharacteristic of him.
"At ease soldier. I've got news for you." Piers relaxed with a nod.
"Yes, sir?" Since he had just finished his training his hair was a mess and his body covered with dirt. He really wished he could have just headed back to his room to shower but he didn't want to upset his higher ups.
Crossing his arms, his Sergeant tilted his head pointing towards a room in the back.
"Follow me." Nodding once more Piers obediently followed feeling the ache of a good workout taking over. His commander o
