Doctor Who Tenth Doctor in 3D Anaglyph by xmancyclops Doctor Who Tenth Doctor in 3D Anaglyph by xmancyclops
Promotionnal art by BBC. 3D by me. The 3D is fan-made. Use red/cyan 3D glasses to view it.

That one was a little bit more difficult to do, mainly because it is not a 3D conversion of a drawing like I'm used to do. I hope it is not too bad to view.

That's a huge step you took, from cartoon style to photographic. Really nicely done! I like how you brought the Doctor's arm forward :-)
Time now to put some more depth into the smaller details and bring some life to the characters, I say...

Thanks for the fave :-)

I wanted to go out of my "zone of comfort" with that one. I don't know if I have been successful but I find it strange how Jack's head looks big compared to his body on the conversion.

That's because there is a very exaggerated perspective in this image. In a 2D setting there's only that perspective to rely on and therefore perfectly accepted that a head is disproportionate to the body, or a hand disproportionate to the head. Having it converted to 3D though, with all the objects situated relative toward the same perspective but the objects themselves left flat, conflicts with our natural expectations to see depth within those objects too. So the only thing you can do with a picture as this one is go one step further and work through the smaller details too, the same way as you did with the rest of the image...
