The Full Moon in Aries at 2:58am PDT is occurring with Aries' ruler Mars at the South Node, debilitated in Libra. Aries Moons can be impulsive and headstrong, wanting to surge ahead full speed, but Mars in socially-conscious Libra can feel more reserved, needing to be tactical and diplomatic, while the South Node is a place of releasing, and Mars here can find us with far less energy to get things done than we'd planned on.
On this same day, Venus in Leo squares Uranus in Taurus at 10:53am, and Venus rules Libra, which may result in a feeling of social and aesthetic agitation, like electricity running under our skin and through the backs of our minds. Uranus can be brilliant and exciting, but can also be unsettling and detached, which can thwart the Venusian desire for connection. And since Uranus is future-oriented, we may find ourselves in a state of heightened anticipation of things that we had hoped would come to fruition during this lunar cycle, but which in fact require a little more time, energy, and a more favorable social climate to yield the results we desire.
This Full Moon shows us the need for balance between our own needs and those of others and what must change to achieve greater harmony in the area of our lives that it illuminates, even if we need to wait before we can take real action to improve the situation. We need to breathe deeply now, drawing from this Full Moon's creative inspiration, air feeding fire and revving up our passions so that we can move forward with Mars' full potency and decisiveness when he enters his home sign of Scorpio on October 11th.
