Here is a taste of what's in store at the debut exhibition by photographer Radim Cechvala -- stark and breathtaking outdoor images of Western Australia featuring incredible contrasts. A kangaroo's skeleton lies in the dirt reduced to bleached bones by the relentless forces of nature. Dead trees reach up like hands to the sky from a drought-stricken landscape. And look out for Radim's out-of- this world shots of the Pinnacles rock formations. Other images feature churning seas pounding on the WA shore and the amazing skyscape of two storms collidings -- all made more dramatic by Radim's use of latest panoramic technology to deliver wide-angle views of up to 360 degrees.

Uhm, I am so excited about having the exhibition that I forgot to mention, that I won the deviantArt Panoramic photograph contest with this photograph: www.deviantart.com/deviation/3…

..well, I didn't get to see the other photographs in the contest yet but this is quite exciting news too:)

I will become a professional photographer one day! ;-)

Sadly, I can't afford a plane ticket to Australia right now, or I'd be there instantly! I'm also beating off some horrible flu, so you probably don't want me coughing all over your photos anyway ;)
Anyway, I'm sure there will be many more to come for you!

See how I go up here and if it will be a success, I might consider other cities as well. Haven't been to Melbourne yet;)

Thanks. Starting in a week time! It's exciting and little bit scary too. It is my first exhibition..

:) You cannot get lost in Sydney - the city is quite small and the rest.. you will know that you are not in the city. That's what Sydney is. Small centre and 1000-ds of villages around.

Well, if you change your mind, you have almost a month to think about it - and I may be able to assist you with not getting lost around here:)

Anyway, it is wicked how much work is around having an exhibition and I still don't know if it will work and I will be able to sell at least few pieces.. but yes, it feels good to know, that there is something like this:) You won't believe, but I am still processing the photographs. Ressing them up a little.. and that takes hours. The panoramic shots are huge, but not as huge as 2.5m on 300DPI.. so I use that fractal thingy to ress them up - and it looks good. Well, first prints will be ready on Monday next week, so I will better then.

When are you having exhibition yourself?:-)

And do you think that my art is good enough?;)

It depends. If you think that you did shoot something that people will like, it has a theme and is a composite throughout your photographs and also; you are either very popular or have $4,000 in your pocket (not, yet, not yet, but getting there.. glad the credit cards are here)..

As they say on luminous-landscape.com: it is different to be artist and artist in business. I am trying the second one.
