Description
This map was created as part of a challenge at cartographersguild.com.
While the version I submitted in the contest was full of site and region text labels, I thought that an unlabeled version might prove useful for some fantasy or science-fiction game masters out there. What you have here is a large, diverse continental landmass, full of forests, deserts, rivers, badlands, and fields of flowing grassland. Feel free to take this map and use it in your DnD campaign. Perhaps you'd like to build your own campaign world around it. Perhaps it's a map that your players find in a treasure hoard, showing a mysterious island continent across the sea. You should be able to bring the file into any page layout or photo-editing software and add your very own names for the various places marked here. Feel free to print it out at any size.
There is another version here with the site icons completely removed: fav.me/dbgnvom
If you distribute the map online, even after you've modified it, I require only that you A) give me an acknowledgement of some kind ("original map by Christian Stiehl, Creative Commons licensed) B) do not remove my logo mark and C) do not use the map for any commercial, profit making purpose (such as publishing it in a book you're selling, or selling poster copies of it, etc.) You may contact me at christian[at]stiehl.net if you have further use questions.
