Now this is something I don't know if anyone has done, but odds are it has and I just don't know. In this list, I'll be counting down my five personal favorite OCs, as well as what I like about them that warranted their spot on the list.

#5 and #4: Koga Kojiro and Ultritch Draconis
Yep. We're starting the list off with a tie. And since it is a tie, they both share the number 5 and number 4 slot. Kojiro is a gung ho blood knight style character, always wanting to get into a good scuffle, and outside of battle is someone who lives life to the fullest. By contrast, Ultritch is a lazy layabout who only wants to nap and just get his jobs done quickly so he can get back to doing nothing. What I like about the two of them, and why they are tied, is because of how well these two play off one another... it's kinda like watching Simmons and Grif from Red vs. Blue... except replace know it all Simmons with gung ho blood knight Kojiro. Their interactions with each other, as well as the scenes of them reporting to their boss, Xeranad, makes for some great moments.
#3: Magnum Roader
First off... he just looks badass. Xeranad's former marksman and assassin, he turned his back on the Dread Lord in order to pursue justice. His own feelings on what justice is is sorta along the lines of Judge Dredd's or the Punisher's, except maybe a little more calm and calculated. Being mostly a machine by this point, he always keeps a certain level of professionalism to everything he does, whether it's taking on Xeranad or killing soldiers of the Fourth Reich. He's willing to dirty his hands with some of the most unsavory acts, not showing an ounce of mercy to anyone who breaks the law or the peace, which makes him rather unpopular among the heroes of Angel Falls. That being said, when his aims align with the heroes', he's a good person to have on their side...
#2: Xeranad Lekard
Oh, you knew he'd be on here. Xeranad Lekard was inspired by a nightmare I had when I was younger, and over time, grew into my favorite antagonist. But why? Is it his appearance? His over the top and admittedly borderline hammy personality? His abilities? His talent at manipulation? Or maybe it's simply because he literally doesn't care about anything? Maybe it's all of the above, or maybe it's because he's just an amazing stress reliever at times. While he has had many different incarnations over the years, the current persona of "I know I'm evil and I enjoy every minute of it" is my favorite, as it really allows him to shine as the twisted monster from the nightmare I had, while at the same time giving him this charm few of my other characters seem to possess. Not to mention he just has amazing story presence. So much as utter his name and suddenly the story takes a darker turn. Now THAT is power. But who could beat him?

#1: Arianrhod "Aria" Cadenza Kahner, aka Romani
Oh, Aria. You cute, sweet girl. While she's certainly had her ups and downs as a character, she stands above even Xeranad Lekard in terms of personal preference. And for good reason: she's sweet, she's kind, but she's far from a saint. She can be somewhat impersonal and even rude at times, but she is, at the end of the day, herself. She is a character with a ton of personality, more so than several of my other characters, and she genuinely feels like a real person to me, as opposed to Xeranad or Magnum, who come across more as feelings or emotions given life. She can be funny (her constant failures at cooking), she can be scary at times (her eyes can do what Xer's does, BTW), it hurts to watch her suffer (boy and how), but her emotions or what she is feeling doesn't define her. In the end, how she deals with her emotions is how she is defined, and that speaks volumes to her character.
