Description
Reina, defeated at the hands of the hunters, hung from the wooden pole by the tangle vines by her wrists and ankles, carried between two hunters. The hunters who caught her eye scowled at her in disdain, likely still upset from having their friends wounded or killed by Reina’s savagery. Soon they came to a clearing, and Reina could see they were in a human village, with structures of wood and twigs suited for the terrain.
The other villagers came out to see what the hunters had brought from their hunt, and seeing Reina, many gasped in shock. Several of them muttered to themselves, some looking scared, others shocked, still others clearly disgusted.
They came to a pole in the center of the village, and the other hunters soon grabbed hold of Reina as they untied her, holding her fast and tightly to make sure she didn’t try to escape or run rampant through the village, despite her struggling. The hunters shoved her body into the pole and once again bound her hands behind it with tangle vines, before stepping back away. By this point a crowd had gathered in front of the jungle girl, staring at her.
Reina struggled against her binds, but they wouldn’t budge, as the leader of the hunters turned to the crowd and started making noises, communicating with the tribe, likely explaining how the hunt had gone. The faces of several of the villagers turned to anger, glaring at their captive. Reina struggled as best she could, her anger and frustration changing to fear and panic, not knowing what the crowd would do to her.
That was when something collided into her face, like a wet slap, and Reina stopped for a moment to look and see she had been hit in the face with a piece of rotten fruit. Soon another collided with her form, and soon the entire crowd was joining in, hitting Reina over and over again with produce. She continued to struggle through it all, her bare feet clawing at the ground to get a foothold for leverage, but the ground had gotten slippery from the produce and she slipped and fell, and seeing the futility of struggling at this point, she hung her head, trying to cover up as best she could to prevent the rotting fruit from hitting anything sensitive.
Just as soon as the pelting began it stopped, and Reina looked up to see an older man had arrived, and he looked angry, making angry noises at the crowd and the head hunter, who he seemed extra hard on. The sun was beginning to set, and soon the crowd dispersed, returning to their homes. The older man then approached Reina, kneeling down and he looked her in the eyes. He started talking, but whatever he was saying she couldn’t understand, before he wiped away some of the juice and pulp away from her face. While the gesture was appreciated, what she really wanted was to be let loose, so she gestured to her bonds, but at this the old man shook his head, a clear denial… and Reina glowered in anger, before the old man got up to walk away, leaving Reina alone, tied to the pole, as the night came.
Reina tried to free herself again, but it was no use. Tired from the constant struggles of the day, her body sore from the beatings and pelting, she let herself drift off into sleep. It was uncomfortable, but she needed to rest, to recover… to get her strength back.
