Aria Eating At The Bakery

"Uh, miss?"

Aria had been staring hungrily at the pastries inside the bakery for a while, a little bit of drool dripping down from her mouth as she looked, but the question brought her back to reality, and realizing she had been pressing herself against the glass a little, leaving smudges of her fingerprints behind, she blushed profusely, standing upright with a jolt.

"I'm sorry!" She said, feeling embarrassed about her behavior.

The baker, a woman in her forties with her hair tied back in a bun, smiled. "Miss, we just had a batch of bismarcks come out of the oven. Why not come inside and have a few?"

Aria blinked, a bit taken aback by the invitation. "I'm allowed inside?"

"Why not?"

"But... most places won't let me in because I'm not wearing shoes."

"Miss, whether you are wearing shoes or not doesn't stop your feet getting dirty. As long as you wipe your feet before coming in, you'll be fine."

Aria practically beamed. She walked inside, ordered a couple of bismarcks and a coffee with cream. She sat down at one of the tables and took a bite of the bismarck, her mouth filled with warm chocolate pastry mixed with cool custard. Her smile didn't leave her face as she chewed and swallowed.

"Oh... that's delicious!" She said aloud.

"Glad you like it, miss." The baker replied from behind the counter, and Aria realized how loud she was, and blushed again.
