Aria, Defender of Baltimore

Baltimore. A lovely ocean side city, home of Old Bay Spice, delicious crab, and the former residence of writer Edgar Allen Poe.

In the Inner Harbor, Aria was in a battle with a surprising foe, an ordinary human... a gangster who got his hands on a magic artifact, in this case a gemstone giving him enhanced strength and speed.

"Give it up, girlie!" The gangster sneered. "With this magic rock I can finally take over this hole of a city!"

Aria batted his attacks aside with her blade, but she found herself on the defensive, a bit surprised by how hard he was attacking. Still, her years of training came to bear, and she managed to knock him off balance.

"All of that power, and this is the best you can do?" Aria asked, smiling. "I'm actually kind of disappointed."

"Shove it!" He replied, swinging wildly, but Aria dodged backwards, her feet sliding across the brick sidewalk before coming to a halt.

Aria readied her blade. "Here I come."
