"Oooh... this is so embarrassing..." Aria muttered to herself, looking down at the outfit she was wearing. Unlike her usual attire of a simple shirt and skirt, here she wore a skin tight leotard, one that revealed her features far more than her simple dress ever did. And she needed to wear it for a circus performance, an odd job she picked up to earn some extra cash.

She looked out at the crowd behind the curtain, and her stomach turned inside out as the thought of embarrassing herself in front of so many people ate away at her.

She closed the curtain quickly, looking down at her hands before taking a deep breath and placing her right hand on her chest. "I can do this... I can do this... I can do this..." She chanted the words, and with every finished sentence, she felt her courage beat down her fear.

She could do this.

She was going to do this.

The ringmaster shouted her introduction, and Aria shoved her way out past the curtain, arms outstretched and a smile beaming from her face. The multicolored lights shone down upon her, the sequins of her leotard glistening softly from the reflection. The crowd sat in quiet anticipation.

She will give them a performance they would remember for a lifetime!
