From what i understood, some paleontologist discovered that T Rex's mouth was full of fatal bacteria, This was probably old news

That research WAS old news, and many Paleontologists discredited the "Mouthful of Bacteria" theory and suggest that T. Rex killed by Brute Force, via a Bite to the neck or skull. In Fact, the "Infectious Saliva" theory was degraded to a MYTH, as may Hadrosaur and Ceratopians skeletons shown to have SURVIVED T. Rex Attacks, as they were bitten in the tail (Hadrosaurs) or Frill (Ceratopians) and escaped with their lives. The Infectious Saliva Myth by Albertonykus
