Word of advice: Don't trust Dinosaur Island. It's full of shit. Dinosaurs could see in color, a technicolor T-rex would quickly die.

T-rex probably wouldn't be that colorful-remember, plant-eating dinosaurs had color vision, so brightly colored predators wouldn't live long.
