New Tablet

Wed Dec 23, 2015, 5:13 PM
After years of working with a secondhand Intuos II, I finally had the cash to buy a brand new Wacom Cintiq 13HD. :D However, when setting it up, I noticed that the screen area was tiny and a little blurry despite being set to max resolution. A lot of poking later, I found that Windows 10 had decided that I needed a 150% zoom in the Display Settings. Resetting that to 100% fixed the issue completely.

So, for those Google searches out there: Blurry Wacom Cintiq 13HD Windows 10 Fix Display Settings "Change the size of text, apps, and other items" to 100%

...And now to go colour something.

  • Listening to: Star Wars (all of it, on random)
  • Reading: The third Honor Harrington book
  • Watching: Star Wars VII
  • Playing: KOTOR II, the restored content edition
  • Eating: Nachos
  • Drinking: 15 year old Glenfiddich Scotch

This thing is sweet! Smaller overall surface area than my old Intuos II, but it more than makes up for it with on-screen drawing. Awesome stuff :)

Can't wait to see what you do with it! Since my desk is so small, I really enjoy the small size. Mines very responsive and smooth, too, even after almost two years I haven't noticed a difference!
