Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers) is the central fountain in the Piazza Navona in Rome, Italy. All sorts of fun things about this one: The Piazza itself was a former Roman stadium (Circus), hence the shape. The statue is by Bernini, that Bernini. To top it off, the whole thing is caped with an even more ancient Egyptian obelisk.
Taken in the morning of Thursday, October 19th 2017. I had just come from the Campo de' Fiori
and was headed toward the Pantheon.
