Green bug by XD-385 Green bug by XD-385
This little guy was on the frame of my back door. And I dared not touch it. Why? Judging by the coloration and body structure, this little guy was most likely a STINK BUG.

Seriously, don't mess with these guys.

If it really is a stink bug, then it could contain some vital information! *endreference*

But seriously, have you even taken a whiff of their odor? If so, tell me how bad it reeked, because I don't think I've seen OR smelled one IRL.

I don't think it's necessarily a bad odor, but rather a type of chemical defense.

Ah stinkbugs. I hate those things.
Really.

They often fly into the fan in singapore and kill themselves and stink my whole room.

Yes they do. :XD: cause they store their stinkyness somewhere in their body and well when you squish them it comes out and stinks. So when they get chopped up by the fan they stink your room too.

I hate them -__-

My solution was I had this small glass bottle that I catch all the stinkbugs and put them in that bottle and leave them there till they all eventually run out of air. That way they don't stink the room when they die but I get a pretty nice stink-bomb as a by-product.........

I learnt dumping them outside makes them fly back eventually and dumping them in the toilet bowl makes the toilet stink when they drown....

evil things.

Hmm... If I'm correct this is a Palomena Prasina or a Green Shieldbug. It's part of a Superfamily called Penatomide (Five Segmented), which consists mostly of Shield Bugs of Stink Bugs. In large numbers, they are considered pests, as they literally suck the juices out of plants, and can propagate rather quickly.
