So You Want to Get Published: Navigating Magazines
I'm going to talk about my experiences with the publishing process (yes, that's plural! I have a sample set larger than N=1). For me, this has been predominantly SF/F, but this should generalize to most prose and even some poetry. For starters, I think that most of us should go through this process at least once. Whether you're looking to self-publish, get into novels, indie or Big 5, start your own zine...you have to have some understanding of the current industry and terminology. Between writing Twitter and the random blogs that come up on Google, if you don't have an existing starting point, you're going to end up with like 50 different ideas on how the process works. Why not try a more hands-on approach instead? Anyway, getting from a story on your computer to in a print (or online!) magazine is a process. There's a lot of magazines out there, and there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach, but here's how I do it. It's worked so far. 1. Write something. Duh? Well, not exactly. I

So You Want to Get Published: Rejection, Rejection
Hey so I made this and while it does cover 90% of what I have to say, I figured a deep dive into rejection would be useful, cause honestly it's gonna happen, and it can be jarring and/or discouraging if you don't know what to expect and/or how to deal with it! Note this is for short fiction/poetry, when it comes to querying an agent or query-accepting publisher for novel-length work...hahaha we can commiserate in the comments I am sad and lonely and my only friend is this form rejection I, personally, am kind of an egomaniac, and I've got a not-exactly-bad track record further bolstering my ego. Despite my natural ebullience, and even on the ones I know are a long shot, I get this little annoying jolt when I see a rejection pop up in my inbox. So like - that's just a thing. There's gonna be some kind of reaction. If you need to take a day away from writing or whatever to deal with it, do so. (Fun fact, my brain automatically concocts a scenario wherein they realize they've made a

I make photomanipulations (morphs) and add captions. These short stories are meant for the reader to place themselves into the scene. I hope you enjoy being there!
Feedback from my readers is always helpful, so please comment to tell me what you like (or didn't like)!
Working hard on the next installment of Rent Money while I wait for my Spells R Us series to drop! Here's a preview, and you can check out the first installment at the Breast Expansion Story Club!

Panel a: Marcy is at the Mall, inside the “Hillary’s Mysteries” shop, which is a shameless parody of Victoria’s Secret. See SRU: Atomic Mobile Issue #1 for reference). She stands with her arms outstretched, with a confident expression on her face while Bunny measures her with a measuring tape. If the numbers on the tape are visible, it should read between 80-90 inches.

Why Coming Soon! didn't come soon.
I really shouldn't make announcements until I've got something nearly finished! I've still got that morph to work on, but the problem came from having to draw enlarged breasts in from scratch. This is something I'm not good at, so I pushed the project back to work on something new. I'll finish the morph eventually, even if I've got to subcontract out to someone more talented (how busy are you, strangebump (https://www.deviantart.com/strangebump) ?)
In the meantime, I have an actual announcement on something I should hopefully be able to share with you all next month. I'm writing for the BE Story Club, and my first issue should be out in June. I will at least have a preview up on h
I'm working on a sequel to one of my favorite morphs. It took a while to find the rest of the photoset, and I've been too busy to morph anything. Don't call it a comeback!
How about a game? Guess which morph this will be a followup to. First one to get it right gets their request photo morphed!
