Yep, I've tried it before. I'm not very good at it tho. xD
All I do is put a light and a camera in a reflective shape. With simpler patterns it might be a cube, for example.
Huh... Interesting.
This, of course, was a far more complicated shape, some sort of truncated snub dodecahedron. You probably shouldn't use shapes with over 100 sides, btw.
