There weren't many orcs in Tardos, or goblins for that matter but Alfonzo had seen all sorts in his youth when he had sailed the trade routes up and down the coast of the Caritz Sea. He had been hungry for adventure then and very brash. He should have listened to his father and stayed with him in his skiff fishing then he might have avoided much hardship. They had not really been welcomed and that, Alfonzo thought, was quite normal. They were green and their eyes were gold and the orc was very large and frightening.
