I spend an entire day on this just because I grow fond of Illusion of a Beast.

I hate to give Illusion of a beast away too (I really started to love her story) but I'm too deep in debts rn.

Each character (expect the cubs) has a small story.

The story of course can be changed or removed when you buy it.

These are just idea based on the theme of the adopt.

The theme is:

A Kingdom haunted by a curse which causes a mysterious sickness...or so they think.

Each character will come with a full-body on a base, 1 shaded sketch Bust with Screenshot BG & 1 head pixel headshot..

Please note that I have not done all drawings, I've a lot to do rn but I'll send the drawing + head pixel at one point to you. (Before February, please be patient with me.)

That is also why they cost a little bit more than my usual adopts.

The King of a kingdom haunted by a mysterious disease.

Also looks like a Karl..

(The Karl part is an inside joke)

2. Queen of the Cursed Kingdom - 5$ or 500 Points | Sold

A patient and smart Queen with a deformed tail.

Long she ruled over the Kingdom until the sickness came.

She saw many fall, looking for a way to heal her Pride and Kingdom.

Until the day came and the sickness reached her.

Still, she fights for her Kingdom and her kids,

She will not give up until she know everyone is safe, ignoring her own needs for others.

3. Fire protects the weak - 5$ or 500 Points | Sold

A border guard who does everything to protect the elder, cubs and the weak.

Even if it means to give up his own life.

4. Dark Healer - 4$ or 400 Points | Open

A healer of a pride haunted by a mysterious disease.

She's has a genetic (chronical) skin diseases which causes her fur to fall out (alopecia with unknown causes).

While searching for help for her disease, she learned more and more about plants and their effects, how to help with broken bones and treat wounds.

This dark furred lioness became the healer of her pride once she matured and is teaching her knowledge to others, that want to help others.

5. Illusion of a Beast - 10$ or 1000 Points | Sold

A beautiful and charming lioness who's a healer in her pride.

However.

This lioness is using her beauty and status as healer to slowing working her way up to the royal family and along this way, many victims fall.

Her mission: Killing the Royal family to be the new Queen.

Her main weapons of choice are poisonous flowers that killer her victims slowly, so nobody knows what happened and thinking it's a diseases spreading in the kingdom.

She hides the flowers in prey, "heal-water" of her teacher and so on.

She mainly uses angel trumpets & Strelitzia.

Strelitzia in cats causes sick-like effects like nausea, diarrhea, drooling and skin irritation (in small dosis).

Illusion of a beast waits until the "sickness" kicks in.

Some weeks later, she'll add Angels Trumpets.

These flowers are highly toxic and can cause: confusion, dilated pupils, intense thirst, dry skin, flushing, fever, high or low blood pressure, fast heartbeat, difficulty breathing, hallucinations, nervousness, loss of memory, convulsions, paralysis, coma, and death.

Also able to cause temporary blindness.

6. Siblings Love (Can only be bought together!!) - 7$ or 700 Points | Open

A sister pair that lost their parents during the mysterious disease.

The older sister always sure that her younger sister stays out of trouble and comforts the little since the lost of their parents.

Hiding her sadness and broken heart, so that the cub won't feel sad.

The younger sister is a trouble maker, too young to understand why her parents won't return.

7. False Disaster, True Heart - 5$ or 500 points | CLOSED

An old, good hearted, wise and lovely Lioness, blamed for bringing a great disaster and sickness to her pride because of her ugliness.

She got outcasted and banned.

Left alone in her weakened age, she searches a new Pride accepting her again.

Hoping to not living her last years alone.

During her life, this old Lioness saw many new lives, many lives dying, many dry seasons and many she has a lot of stories to tell.

She loves telling cubs stories of the Great Kings and Spirits of the Past, the stories of the Pride and she loves to play with the little ones.

Also really enjoy helping the healer, other elders and lionesses who are about to give birth.

She is a true heart, who is blamed by an illusion to cause the mysterious sickness.

8. Blinded by the Angels - 4$ or 400 Points | Open

Note: This character is blind, please keep the disability

One of the few survivor of the mysterious diseases, this male lion permanently lost his vision.

But it was not the disease that took his light, it was the angels who he angered...or so one of the healer say.

9. Looking for the Truth - 5$ or 500 Points | Open

Note: This character is Transgender, I would appreciate if this is kept.

A FTM Lion.

He made his made out of Wildebeest fur.

Different as the others, he does not believe that the mysterious diseases is caused by a curse.

He, unlike every other, does not just take the many fallen lives as "accident".

This lion is looking for the truth behind the curse.

Noticing that some die after they visit the Healers.

Or is it just an illusion he falls for?

10. Family of hope (Can only be bought together!!) - 8$ or 800 Points | Open

In rough time, this little family holds together, never losing hope of a bright future.

11 - 18 are 2$ or 200 points each, they don't have a story.
