This is our cat, Pandora
We got her in 2011 when she was just under a year old, from a very small and honestly cramped shelter. She was kept in a small room with barely any movement space with about 7 or so other cats. She was sick when we got her, they did not give her proper vaccinations, and she was the most quiet one in the room.
Suffice to say, even though she does not make a lot of noise still, she shows us her entire personality DAILY now with her crazy behaviour. From running around randomly, ninja climbing her cat tower, jumping a few feet in the air for no reason, sleeping across me on the sofa, chasing strings and.. like most cats.. staring at the invisible monsters on the ceiling.
She also loves boxes, though I suppose with a name like Pandora....
I don't regret rescuing her from that place, it took a few weeks of clearing up her ear infection with drops and getting her proper vaccinations to make her better, but she has come on leaps and bounds.
Also, quite amusingly, her birthday is the same day as my husbands'! If that isn't fate, I don't know what is.
