I have started playing around with Blender. It also looks like I can convert most of my models from max to obj and fbx through an online conversion site, so I don’t have to give up 20+ years of models. It will take some time to learn how Blender works, but I am encouraged by the results so far. I may even post a picture soon.
Believe it or not, I'm still around, but I'm not doing much art right now. I've been very uninspired and frankly fed up with much of the fandom(s) lately. I've also not sure about renewing with Autodesk for 3D Studio MAX. I may give blender a try. How is it, and how easy is it to bring max files over. I hate to give up my modelling completely, but for now spending $$ for an program I've barely used in the past 2 years doesn't make sense.
