Literature Text

Lost in this unreal reality, I search for you
Over mountains of metaphors marking my way;
Searching, with hopes that you might find me instead. And all the while
Time passes by ever so slowly.

It is better to have loved and lost, than to never have loved at all...

Liquid fire burned through my lungs as I wasted away in your embrace--
Only it was all a dream, so dreadful, so
Vacant and so fake, yet,
Everything felt so real.

You can't lose what was never yours...
Another poem written in class. This time I tried to write one for my club's themes. This week's theme is "Lost Love".

My angle for this was "you can't lose something you never had", so it was a bit difficult to fit it in with "Lost Love" since it is contradictory in this situation. However, I managed.

Let me know what you think?
