   HISTORY  

Born in his twin brother's shadow, Tarmarius was always competing for attention and recognition. But Robinius always had him beat, no matter how hard Tarmarius tried. It seemed there was no hope of Tarma ever coming out on top. Robin was a full quill, while Tarmarius was a standard. Robinius had thier father's blosterious enegry, Huepoe's coloring, and all-around charisma. Tarma was much more matter-of-fact, and struggled to be half the crowd-pleaser his brother was. The distance between them only grew as they entered thier teenage years, and they both began to grow into bipedals. 

Robin was lauded as being the heir to Last Notch, while Tarmarius was only 'the brother'. The slight stung, and so did how much he townsfolk and thier younger siblings looked up to Robinius, even while Tarma struggled to stand out. 

One day the twins went to the quarry, but only one of them came home. In what is labeled a tragic accident, Robinius dies saving his brother's life. Rumors abound as to what the exact details were, but the whispers are quickly hushed while the Gumbuckle family closes ranks, even as the fall appart over the crippling loss. None of them are ever quite the same, especially Tarmarius.

Years pass and as the eldest Gumbuckle child, Tarmarius takes over as the quarry manager. He instills harsher saftey measures, and even harsher demands for resuts from the workers. Profit rises, and Tarmarius begins spreading his sphere of influence until he basically runs the town.

  PERSONALITY  

Tarmarius is a no-nonsense wyngro with zero desire to sugarcoat anything. He has little time for people he deems 'beneath' him, and Chi'falla help you if you waste his precious time. He expects jobs done right, and jobs done with quick efficenecy. If you can't do that, you'd best hope he doesn't notice you because he's not shy about cutting off 'deadweight' from any of the busniesses he oversees. (If you work anywhere in Last Notch, he's basically your bosses', bosses', bosses', boss, no matter where you work. So you'd best look lively if you see him coming.)

Dispite this, and his annoyance at inefficency, he always seems to have more slack to give for his family when it comes to producing money for large parties, sweeping brawls or other unlawlfullness from his spite hunter brother under the rug, or securing a space in the Wyngling Ranch for one of Spa's many eggs.
