Monster's Lantern

copypasta desc from the submission on FA: Practice attempt at digital coloring and light sources. This is something I never really do so this piece has taken forever. I've been working on and off on it for the last week or so. I was inspired by some new techniques that I gleaned from watching other artists stream, mostly tricks with Multiply and Overlay layers.

So I can do pretty art if I put my mind to it! Will I offer this style for commission? Ehhh probably not. I mean, I could, but it is super time consuming. Like we're talking I'd probably want to charge something like $150 for it. And I don't expect anyone to pay that for art from a nobody like me. XD

Anyway! So this is my monster character Jalapeno with a pretty red lantern. This piece shows off his anthro proportions well. He's like a mishmash of a gorilla, a bear and an otter!
