Comments disabled because u dAmn kids, get off my lawn. Also, chain messages are stupid and I'm tired of seeing them in my inbox. Blame the kids.
I said I'd upload it, didn't I? Oh, was yesterday April Fool's day? MUSTA SLIPPED MY MIND, TEE HEE!
But seriously though, a while back, I was asked about a commission for a flash game and set up some pricing for the first one EVER! I honestly had never thought to offer them as commissions(something like this really is pricey and I figured no one would pay). This game has POSES, only because the commissioner paid me to do so. nn In any game that I make on my own, I WILL NOT create different poses because of all the complicated extras I like to add. This smaller game still took me a few months to create. Riolu is a little more simplified and doesn't have many complex extras, so re-drawing all the items and markings wasn't bad at all. Commissioned by My commissions are not open at the moment, as I have a summer project coming up, so I won't have time to offer another commission like this, but I'll keep any one interested posted when things change!
As with all my games:
Rules are simple. Do not sell the artwork for real money. Do not re-create the lineart and redistribute. You MAY create adoptables and sell the characters for points or fake money though. No real cash profits. Just know that when you're selling adoptables, you are not selling the rights to the artwork, just the design of the character. The artwork is mine, but the characters are yours. Feel free to draw them in your own style and use them as you like for books, stories, roleplay, etc. And obviously, don't claim to have drawn them. A link back or credit is appreciated if you upload these.
HOW TO TAKE A SCREENSHOT For PC- There should be a key on your keyboard that says Prt Scr(Print Screen), press it, then open up an image program like Paint or Photoshop, GIMP, etc. Go to Edit, then choose Paste and save your image. For Laptops-There should be an "Fn" button somewhere on your keyboard, press and hold it and hit your prt scr button at the same time. Then open up an image program like Paint or Photoshop, GIMP, etc. Go to Edit, then choose Paste and save. For Macs-Command+Shift+4 makes you select an area of the screen and then saves the shot on the desktop.
Q: Can I use this to make character? / Can I use this at all? Etc, etc. A:You do not need to ask to use it! If I didn't want people using it, it wouldn't be on the internet, that's for sure.
Q: Can I use the character I create for a book/roleplay/movie/game? A: The artwork belongs to me, so you can't use it in a book or movie or game(feel free to post it to a roleplay website, if they allow that). The character itself though, belongs to you(though Riolu belongs to Nintendo). So you may roleplay them, write a story about them, or build a game around the character to your heart's content. As long as my artwork doesn't show up in the final product, everything is good.
Q: Can I use the artwork in my free game? / Can I use the artwork in my non-profit book? A: No. Even if the game or book is non-profit and you gave credit, the maker's intended purpose, aside from killing time and having derpy fun, is to help with the creation and ideas of characters and also to use as a visual reference for those who may lack the artistic skill to draw their character.
Q: Can I use the image for an avatar/icon/profile pic? A: As long as you aren't claiming the artwork as your own, go for it.
