Exile

Nearly 2021 and I've been procrastinating with artworks in recent months. My laptop flatlined in November which didn't help matters. But I did manage to finish the Black Metal tarot which took 9 long years to complete. I'll be uploading some new pictures from that and hope to get it into publication next year.
I call this one Exile for things I learned earlier this year. I don't even know where to begin but to make it short, I'd always had a lot of profound fantasies and visions which I found out were my past life memories. I learned I had been sent into exile in an ancient past and a castle was the place where I was held. Castles often turn up in my artworks. They represent to me a place of captivity, isolation but also sanctuary.
Stock came from various public domain images.

This piece conveys a lot of mystery. I really like the atmosphere you’ve put down with this work, the darkness, the mystery, it all makes me very curious as to what is going on in that castle on the hill, especially that one light light coming from the window up in the tower makes me curious. I really like the amount of detail you have put in this piece in overall, there are a lot of small things to be reckoned with, and the piece wouldn’t be the same without any of them. They all add to the mystery. I think you did a wonderful job, keep it up!
