MLSP #01 - Thumbnail for Medieval Frame-House

Hi there again, I'm currently trying to learn as much as I can about concept art and that said decided to start my own little project. Goal is to create an illustration of my own interpretation of a medieval frame-house in a fantasy RPG setting. So after looking at tons of inspirational images as well as references of the chosen topic I started thumbnailing. The one you can see here is the 1st one of those rough little sketches. I personally really like the 3rd & 4th one and I'm exited to hear which one you prefer. So stay tuned for the coming week when I will share more of this little side project with you

Thank you! Especially for encouraging me to finally start on them As soon as I'm through with the thumbnail stage there will definitively be some perspective going on. Excited and scared about it at the same time, haha. Trying to take it slow with those, so that I don't feel pressured and really can enjoy the process. Also I think the results will be better if I take my time with them

this is so cool! 
i like medieval themed art, and house drawings!
but not drawing house, because i can't draw them, geometry is somewhat a nightmare for me xD

Thank you Yeah I like those a lot too, reason I chose them for my first concept art adventure
I think you would be able to draw them with a bit of practice, you are just very used to organic forms so all those straight lines can be scary
Maybe give it a try sometime
