I spun, smile on my face. The rain drizzled down on my damp, frizzy hair as I leapt about in the large meadow without a care. My clothes had been spattered with mud and so had my face, though the empty, muddy field seemed so welcoming and beautiful still.
I reached the tall tree in the center of the field. I pulled myself up to a branch a meter or two above the ground. I looked into the distance, seeing the sun set. I felt a brief moment of grief as I remembered moments like these, though they were spent with my lover, in this very field, though I smiled as I imagined him next to me, my head on his shoulder as the rain drizzled down on my damp, frizzy hair. A grin spread across my face as I jumped down from the branch, spinning and leaping towards home.
