WWE is saddened to learn that Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart passed away.

Best known as the powerhouse of the legendary Hart Foundation tag team with his brother-in-law, Bret “Hit Man” Hart, Jim Neidhart was also the father of current WWE Superstar Natalya.

Neidhart began his ring career after playing professional football with the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys. He was trained by WWE Hall of Famer Stu Hart in the infamous Hart Dungeon in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and earned his ring nickname, The Anvil, after winning an anvil throwing contest.

Neidhart married Stu's daughter, Ellie, to become a member of the legendary Hart Family before making the move to WWE along with Bret "Hit Man" Hart, Dynamite Kid and Davey Boy Smith when WWE purchased Stu Hart’s Calgary Stampede Wrestling.

Initially, Neidhart and Hart were managed by Jimmy Hart as The Hart Foundation and went on to win two WWE World Tag Team Championships.

After several years of teaming with Bret’s younger brother, Owen Hart, and some singles competition, The Hart Foundation was re-formed in controversial fashion in 1997. Consisting of Neidhart, Bret, Owen, Smith and Brian Pillman, the pro-Canadian faction stirred United States crowds into a frenzy with their anti-American sermons.

Neidhart last competed in WWE in 1997 but his legacy lives on today through his daughter, Natalya, who displays her father’s signature charisma and toughness every time she steps in the ring.

WWE extends its condolences to Neidhart’s family, friends and fans

Former professional wrestler and promoter Tracey Caddell has passed away, according to PWInsider. Caddell was big on the independent scene in Northh Carolin and was a founding member of the OMEGA promotion help launch the career's of of Matt and Jeff Hardy, Hurricane Helms and many many more.

Caddell is the father of Impact Wrestling star Trevor Lee.

F4Wonline is reporting Brickhouse Brown has passed away this morning at the age of 57 after his battle with cancer.

According to the report, nine days ago Brown flatlined on July 20 and was pronounced dead by the hospice nurse. Family and friends were notified, but while Brown's Mother, Victoria Timmins, slept next to him she heard Brown say, "Mom, I'm hungry" and continued speaking with her. The coroner was traveling to take the body at that time. The news of his passing was initially reported by close friend of the family and President of the Cauliflower Alley Club, Brian Blair.

Earlier this year, the Cauliflower Alley Club honored Brown with a Courage Award, which you can see in the video above.

Debuting in 1982 in Texas, Brown worked for multiple promotions in the 80s and 90s including AWA, USWA, and the CWA where he would feud with Terry Funk, Scott Steiner, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and others. Brown reintroduced himself to a new generation of wrestling fans through shoot interviews about his time in pro wrestling.

Our condolences to the family and friends of Brickhouse Brown.

It was previously reported that former WWE Tag Team Champion "Grand Master Sexay" Brian Christopher Lawler (son of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler) was on life support after an apparent suicide attempt.

According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lawler has passed away at the age of 46:

Longtime wrestling fans may remember Lawler as one-third of the trio known as Too Cool along with "Scotty 2 Hotty" (Scott Garland) and WWE Hall of Famer Solofa Fatu, better known as "Rikishi Phatu". During their time together in WWE's Attitude Era, Grand Master Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty captured the WWE World Tag Team Championship in May of 2000, and Rikishi also held the Intercontinental Championship in June of 2000.

WWE is saddened to learn that Josip Nikolai Peruzović, known to WWE fans as Nikolai Volkoff, has passed away at age 70.

Best known for his dastardly, WWE Tag Team Championship–winning union with The Iron Sheik, Volkoff’s in-ring career spanned the better part of 40 years, which featured battles against the likes of Sgt. Slaughter, Hulk Hogan and Bruno Sammartino. As one of the greatest villains sports-entertainment had ever seen, Volkoff’s infamous rendition of the Soviet National Anthem before his matches made him an instant icon in the eyes of the WWE Universe as a Superstar they truly loved to hate. Jim Ross inducted Volkoff into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2005.

WWE extends its condolences to Peruzović’s family, friends and fans.

Smith Hart -- the oldest sibling of the Hart wrestling family, and brother to Bret Hart has died after a battle with cancer.

Former WWE wrestler David Hart Smith -- Smith's nephew -- posted a message Sunday saying his uncle had died.

Smith's own Facebook page posted a message as well confirming his death.

Smith was the oldest of 12 in the Hart wrestling family, and appeared in WrestleMania 26 alongside his younger brother, Bret ... who wrestled Vince McMahon in 2010.

Smith wrestled professionally through the '70s, '80s and '90s, and made appearances on WWF and WWE.
