these wonderful things

event piece for the fifth anniversary of PA!! using an experimental, cartoony style and featuring an absolute metric ton of cameos that I will attempt to list in an orderly way, and I may get a little sappy at the end :')

This is more of a piece dedicated to all the player-character collaborations I've been a part of throughout the years, the ones that have made PA what is had become for me, and continually brought me back through the occasional short burnouts and phases of interest I've experienced in the four years(four years!!!) since I've joined. Its been the people too, not just the characters, that have kept me hooked, and I will never be able to express the sheer happiness this group has brought me, or the gratitude I have to it and the people in it for getting me to the point where I am in my artistic career- I literally would not be where I am today without this group.
So I hope, at the very least, that I can somewhat get across how I feel with this XD

From the steel water flock, we have my baby picaroon, as well as BendustKas Matriarch, Mechanic-Drone s Kamui, and @snootsnooters Blackbeard
this flock concept is great, I adore the vibes of this flock and the people in it as well. I may not do much with flocks and packs(they're less condusive to my lore creating style i think) i still love to be in them, and i love seeing what everyone gets up to with them. i'm just happy to be along for the ride

From the wolftah pack, we have my Oakchest, Haunted-dark-Umbreon s Timber, WesternHaunt s Fang, and Timidbutler s Pointer
This is one of the more recent packs I've joined, and though i haven't had much time to think about it, I really like the concept and I would like the brain worm to come along and bite me soon for it please lmao

Then we have my OG player collaboration, my Mira and AnonSpice s Kaffir
Mira was my second dino in PA, and when i went looking for a parental figure for her to make lore with, i was offered the use of Kaffir by anonspice, and that kickstarted what would become my obsession with character lore in this group. I'd never really developed character relations from the ground up like that, and it laid the foundations for the nearly 85,000 words of story and four years of worldbuilding that i continue even now, always stewing on the backburner no matter what non-PA things i might be doing.

The adventuring trio of my girl Kitten, flickermouse s Hyssop, and Atroquin s Healy, as well as a feature of hyssop and kittens estranged brother farran who belongs to me as well
This was the second of my character collabs, from around the same time as the first, maybe a few months later. i was branching out into the group and finally *talking* to people, and after getting ahold of kitten and her siblings, and Flicker taking Hyssop off my hands, i beleive Atro asked in matchmaking for exploring buddies for Healy, and Hyssop and Kitten were offered. i always think of these three, and of the sibling lore and hyssop's twins, with such fondness, and i absolutely adore the story that was formed from them all, and the collaborations with atro and flicker that ensued.

And lastly, one of my newest, still forming, coordinations, BendustKas s Tobias and my Inanis <3 don't know where its going yet, but kas's Tobias is a stunner of a character and i'm just along for the ride!

To everyone mentioned here, and to those of whom I couldn't manage to fit dinos in this piece for or who I might not have character collabs with, anyone who has kept me interested or hooked me into PA in the first place and inspired me and everything in between, blacky and deathherself and dragon and slugg and tokkay and soga and iyell and umbrace and many others, from the bottom of my heart, I appreciate you all so much, and I can't wait to see where this community goes!!
