Sketchlab7 So I'm trying the Youtube thing with my Art. I've always loved Creating my own worlds, Sharing techniques and Jamming on crazy ideas or concepts. With the video platform i can make those come to life. These are just 2 of my intitial vids I was exploring with. So my work offered a workshop for sculpting. At first I wasn't planning on signing up. But my coworker pushed me to take the class with her. To make a long story short I have discovered how fun it is to sculpt. I love it! They provided a live model for us and we initially sculpt her figure and then we were given the option to expand it to how ever we want. I decided to make her a female barbarian. Pictures to come from my first try at sculpting.

So I'm trying to expand my visual library. One thing that I haven't drawn much are mechs. To me this means anything with mechanical stuff like Robotech, Ironman, Appleseed, Transformers, Gundam and Bubblegum Crisis. So my goal is to research one type once a week by sketching the designs and analyzing it. I will be posting my research on my website sketchlab7, in the sketch section. The following week I will use what I learned to create a personal piece. Well that's my goal anyways. Hopefully I can follow through on this. Wish me luck, I start at the beginning of July.
