I recently retrieved some of my old work files from when I was still with IFS so I decided to share some of them here with you guys.

This is one of a number of plate illustrations I did for Osprey Publishing's Osprey Adventure series. This one in particular is for their fictional Vampire Hunter's Guide book, which I had quite a bit of fun with as got to visualize different Vampire hunters from different cultures around the world hunting their prey.

Chupacabras, hiding in cenotes, are being hunted by Spanish Conquistador and Aztec vampire hunters. Done in 2013.

Aztecs were from Mexico.

Edit:  It wasn't Mexico then, but it was the region which become Mexico.

Near the middle of Mexico actually.  Their Capital is about where Mexico City is now.

Beautiful piece of art. I was born and live in Mexico, and carry both spanish and aztec blood, so this illustration is specially meaningful for me. Just keep in mind Mexico is not part of South America, nor the aztecs ever set a foot in that region.

Please study history (nor panflets written by avaricious UK/USA or propagandistic editors from separatist movements) before talk.
If you want to find genocidal persons in American colonization process just turn your eyes to british colones or USA 19th expansion policies. Do you remember the blankets distributed among the Indians infected with smallpox? This was deliberately done by USA, but never by spanish.
Spanish crown dictamined many laws to protect indians (king Felipe II created the 8 hours working day specifically for indians) and spanish people mixed their blood with indians bringing thousands of mestizo generations for the future, Nazis did the same? And british? And USA?...

Also you must remember that genocidal politicies (concentration camps included) in Latin-America started after independence of territories from spanish crown, influenced/induced by economic interests of USA.
Was an argentinian president, nor spanish, who said "The good indian is the dead indian".
Indians and mestizos were considered citizens/persons under spanish crown. They can own lands, they can became nobles, priests, move up inside army... Spanish crown founded 25 universities in America without segregation policies... Is this Nazi? Other colones did the same in America?

Spanish imperium wasn´t perfect, and spanish weren´t saints BUT thanks to spanish policies Latin-America keep alive their indigenous heritage, created a new mestizo culture and many and numerous indian tribes still exist free.
Racial supremacism never was a characteristic/defect of mediterranean people. So... tell again this bullshit about conquistadors and nazism... ;)

Even two sides with great distrust, hatred for one another, and differences are willing to put that aside to battle a greater threat.
