It is absolutely amazing - if I consider how bad the weather was and that it was muddy exhibit under the trees, you did amazing job when you captured him like this. I love how the puppy blends with the leaves, that really make us know how the nature can hide even such predators.
The photo also still shows the nice playful nature of the pup it is really nicely sharp, I have to say I am jealous a bit XD the only thing I do not like that much is that the wolf is in the centre of the image, but that is just a minor thing"
i've read your critique and i only have one question, why you don't like that the wolf is in the center of the image? how do you like it to be ?
it usually makes the shot interesting and more dynamic when the wolf is a bit to the side
oh right, like in the rule of the thirds ?
Rule of thirds is nice, but it's not a dogma. In case of symmetric picture, like this one, creating empty space on one side usually just leaves the viewer wondering "wtf?" rather then finding the picture dynamic. A lot of photographers takes rules too literally.
like i do, i'm crazy about symmetry and sometimes i take those rules too literally when i create my scenes
True but in this case I wanted to show how much it blends into the surface but no offense taken, usually I prefer to have animal at the side too
