Occasional Roll for the Caid Crown Tournament in August 2008. The roll shows the arms of all combatants paired with their consorts. The top three rows contain the knights and bottom two rows are "unbelted" fighters. Otherwise, the pairs are ordered according to their final standing in the tournament, which was won by Count Sven fighting for Countess Kolfinna.
The flags were inspired by the Zurich Roll, ca. 1340. The emblazons were first completed in pen and ink, then text and color were added in PhotoShop using a Wacom tablet (I miss that tablet!) The finished image was published in The Crown Prints
for Sven and Kolfinna's coronation in November 2008.
I completed this to also commemorate the final Crown Tournament I'd oversee as Crescent Principal Herald of Caid. Thus, I like to call this the "Crescent Roll".
