 Hello all!

After a long a long dry period of silence, it's about time to make a new update for the group. And what better way to do it than with the announcement of a new historical fabrics blog from a user near and dear to us all: Velven

"We want to share images of the items in the collection to encourage people to be interested in, and inspired by, the past. I'm sending you this as the founder of the World-Costumes group, we thought they might come in useful for reference, or just pure eye candy to your members!"

The main blog link page can be found here: www.gawthorpetextiles.org.uk/
And the gallery link is here: gtcgallery.tumblr.com/

Special thanks to Rachel and the Gawthorpe Textile Collection team for their dedication and hard work!
You all have a great thing going, keep it steady and good luck on your future endeavors!

As for the users and members of World-Costumes, enjoy the new reference source guys and feed on the inspired material so that you may create greater and greater art, letting your talents expand and flourish!

Cheers!~

Question: Would Germanic (landsknecht style) clothing go in the "Eastern European and Slavic" or "Western European influenced" folder? Germany is usually said to be situated in "Central Europe" or "Northern Europe" as opposed to "eastern" or "western".
