Good Luck Koi by workingfire Good Luck Koi by workingfire
I got water colours for Christmas, and decided to try them out for the first time in ... at least three or four years. It was a lot of fun, especially the Japanese.

My scanner, however, ate all the blue water I had surrounding the koi. So it's sort of floating, now. Stupid scanner.

Pencil, water colours, and ball-point pen used on a canvas. Took about three hours.

P.S - It should read 'Good Luck' up in the corner - but I just googled it, so really, I have no idea.

I love it. It almost looks like it's moving, swimming around.

There is something I just love with this piece of art, has an almost traditional feel to it.
