Error 505: Toy Bonnie Malfunctioning

... And Toy Bonnie helps demonstrate why the Toys fall into the uncanny valley, especially once they start malfunctioning. They look cute and cuddly most of the time, but they also look slightly off... maybe the plastic's slightly too bright and shiny. Perhaps their eyes are just slightly too dead and vacant looking. Or... they could move a little too stiff and robotic to be believable... or perhaps too fluidly and lifelike not to fall into the uncanny valley. There are also some design features of the Toys which, while appealing to the kids, specifically unsettle the adults that visit Freddy's while they're around.

I am undecided on how the Toys and the Withereds react to each other when they start encountering each other while wandering around the building at night... more specifically on the Toy's side of the equation. I figure that the Withered Animatronics would see the Toys as mostly being robotic nuisances... entirely programming driven automatons that mostly serve as irritating distractions while they try to investigate the night guard who's working there. That or they'd see the Toys as robotic obstacles that are somehow being controlled by the Night Guard, which is more or less a same difference matter to them. Either way, the Withereds and the Toys being opposing forces with Jeremy Fitzgerald getting caught up in the middle of all of it is an interesting dynamic to explore.

Anyway, Toy Bonnie being the main front line security robot and the best equipped to handle significant amounts of physical force is pretty handy for keeping the FNAF 2 pizzeria safe... but the Toys are also supposed to be part of a larger security operation. Once the would be criminal has been sufficiently neutralized by the Toys, then the human security guards would be able to approach the criminal in relative safety and detain them while waiting for the police to arrive. Ideally, the toys would move to help calm the guests down and reassure them that the police are on their way and the situation is under control once the human security team has taken over. They would then resume their usual routine of performing onstage, walking around, and interacting with the guests and patrons of the pizzeria. The Toys would also log any security incidents/report them to an overseer program for review and/or use as evidence should a crime be committed at Freddy's while they're "on duty." That of course would be assuming that they were around long enough to receive their full security programing package... which they weren't.
