I've been working on this new character, and this is a head/textures/hair test I've done.
The character is a bit cartoon/stylized, so the hair hasn't been rendered with all the details it could have, to match the style of the character, but I'm happy with the result even with that, as it's a tricky hairstyle to do.
Eyes still have that, not quite integrated with the head, look to them. I know this is just a WIP, but I once saw someone blur the line where the the bottom lid meets the eye - just a little bit. They also put a little highlight there. I was blown away at how much it added to CG eyes.
Every time I see results from Hair-Farm like this it astounds me. Want to try it so badly.
When I rendered the front face one I thought the eyes were maybe looking a bit too dark. Right now it has a tear mesh in the lower lid to create that highlight, but I'm not sure if it should be bigger considering the eyes are also bigger than on a realistic character. I've never heard of that blurring the edge trick begore, I'll give it a try.
