Jacob Lopez is a 14 yr old outcast, while at school, when the other boys where playing sports he was often found reading comic books and dreaming of fantasy adventures.
One day while walking home from school, lost in thought as he was reading the latest issue of Super Mega Ultra Man, Jacob stepped into traffic causing a truck carrying toxic waste, to swerve into a travel circus truck caring rare African spiders. Jacob found himself covered in insects and toxic waste, as one of the vehicles slammed into an electrical pole causing the power transported to explode and showing Jacob in electrical sparks, causing his fantastic transformation into

Now inspired by his childhood comic hero's he decided to dawn a costume and fight crime. Using his new powers of being stronger and faster and having the spider-like leaping ability to jump great distances, as well as adhere to any surface at his disposal. The Aracna-Kid may be able to shoot webs, but after doing online research he found out that most spiders shoot webs out of the rear ends, and decided its best not to EVER try it.
Of course having no formal training, clue what to do with the criminals once he caught them and having no official ties to any law enforcement agency, most if not all his collars get off. In doing so the Aracna-Kid is seen as a nuisance to both criminals and police.

This character was not suppose to look this cool, he was just suppose to be another Mexican wrestler/superhero to exist in the same world and town as Macho Machismo, but when the design started to come out it just looked to good. The colors came out of my need to make him appear nothing like Spiderman so red/blue were out, and green just fit, and the white gloves, well that just looked cool. Love his upside down spider logo, think that stands out nicely. The name was the hardest part, so many spider hero characters out there; trying to find a name that work was hard. Was even trying to find slang words for spiders even going as far as having his name being in Spanish, but my inability to spell 'arachnid' saved the day.
