RadicalRacerOCC submission

here is my submission to the RadicalRacerOCC contest. the rules are simple create an original interpretation of your racer's Transportation, a Lucky Charm, and Special Trick that your racer would use to help win the race.

I knew the vehicle was going to be a motorcycle, so i focused on the racer first. i wanted an old school leather helmet you'd see in the old day of motorcycle racing and from there i just went wild. i try to give him an Evel Knievel  type daredevil look that mixed with me doing this around the 4th of july was the reason for the color scheme. 

his good luck charm is his fathers silk scarf that he wore in his riding days. his father never got a scratch, so our hero hopes the scarf works for him too.

the bike i wanted to have a literal ball for a front tire and i messed around with making it look retro 40-50s and some what futuristic. i does help that i know nothing about motorcycle mechanics or design so this thing got's so many vents and filters that do....something

for the trick: i wanted the bike to rely on speed to get it thru the race, so offense is not its strong suit. relying on speed meant that it needed to have something to keep the other racers off his tail, so i came up with the smoke-stacks that are really projectile launchers
they launch the "thunderbolts " a loud explosive that descend from on high.
