The sun steadily approached, while the pearly white moon retreated back into hiding just under the horizon. As sharp rays of sunlight beamed down on the earth, birds chirped and tweeted to celebrate dawn.
However, a little closer to the ground, someone not very happy stomped furiously through the streets. As time went by, Joshua had regained control over his own body and had tried to turn around, heading back towards his home. The being had been daydreaming while they traveled towards the nearest subway, but with Joshua’s awakening, they’d grabbed back on and hoped that it would hold out until their arrival.
“Couldn’t find anyone better to possess, huh Kade?”
A voice shook them from their thoughts, as they wandered around the subway bus station. Their eyes landed on the skull of a jacob sheep, which was perched on top of a rusted old bench. The people waiting for the bus to arrive were obviously avoiding it, with some w
