EDIT (May 26th): Because voting is so difficult to find in the new DeviantArt skin, I am temporarily adjusting the number of votes required for submission to the Featured gallery. I will personally check the submissions weekly and accept submissions so long as they do not break any rules. Please feel free to message me directly or via a group note if you have any questions.
As you all may know, our Featured Gallery is the only group folder that requires a vote to approve your submission. Members must receive five YES votes, while members of affiliate groups must receive ten YES votes to be accepted into the Featured Gallery.
Unfortunately, the new Eclipse skin has changed how we use DeviantArt, so I wanted to ensure that everyone knows where to find group correspondence and how to vote on incoming submissions. The below journal is helpful, and I've copied some of the most relevant information here.

How to DeviantArt: NotificationsGreetings, ye olde quarantined masses of the world.
For future generations of deviants wondering what on earth that greeting means, at the time I am writing this we are at day 41 (at least in good old Massachusetts) of social distancing due to COVID-19. A bit more down time than I am used to has resulted in this tutorial. So there is the bit of shining light. Yes, I am equating this tutorial to shining light. COME AT ME.
As with my other How to Eclipse tutorials (linked at the end), the goal is to help the community learn and adjust to the new version of DeviantArt! It can be difficult to learn something new whether you have been on the site for a decade or a day. So let us dive together into what is very commonly the heartbeat of many deviants' existence here: their notifications!
What We'll Cover:
How to Find Notifications
Live notificationsNotification Center
Personal NotificationsSimple modeAdvanced modeFilteringDissecting a NotificationPie
1) View your notifications by clicking twice on the Bell icon at the top right of the page.
2) Click on the Correspondance tab. This will show notifications that need voting on such as others requesting your artwork into groups or pending requests you have put into other groups.
Group Correspondence Tips:The "Awaiting Group Decision" icons are for showing you how many votes have happened and how many are needed total. The red icon stands for Declined votes and the blue stands for Accepted votes.
The Decline and Accept links are at the top right of the correspondence.
To access public view and admin view comments, just click the "..." icon and select View Log. You will be transported to the old DA version of the page since groups are under construction.
If you need any assistance with groups, please send us a Note or leave a comment and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
i've submitted this to the group gallery a couple times now but nothing ever happens even though every other female Marvel character i've submitted has been accepted within a couple days. what's up with that?
Submissions to the Featured gallery are subject to a member vote. If a submission does not receive enough votes within one week, then the submission expires. Unfortunately, not every submission will make it past the voting process.
If you are not able to obtain enough votes for the Featured gallery, you may want to submit to the other Gallery Folders instead. These folders do not require voting and are open to all group members.
Never forget Stan Lee the greatest Comic book writers.
