Santana

A few years ago I saw Santana live with Dave Mathews. This painting was the result. Santana creates these really soulful passages with his guitar and beautiful tones. I wanted to convey a feeling of being bathed in the colorful sounds of his melodic flow. And I wanted him to blend with the colors, so some parts of him just turn into flat color. Psychedelic!
