I'm an independent digital artist, poet, and creative writer from Northern California. The artistic and written items you see in my DeviantART store and gallery are examples of personal pieces done for fun and self-expression.
My bread and butter is in producing web content, ad copy, articles on various subjects and occasionally professional freelance graphic design. I'm hoping that's not a permanent state of affairs though, as I'd really prefer to be doing something more creative professionally speaking. Selling things or making sensible items for other people's websites is actually kind of a snore... but hey. I'm running my own successful business out of my own personal space doing things I'm really good at, so I can only complain so much.
I'm not active on this site to any great degree anymore, as I sort of feel like I've outgrown it for the most part. However, I do occasionally pop in briefly to check messages and see what's going on. Sometimes when I feel so inclined, I'll post a journal update so that interested parties can continue to keep up with me. However, my professional life keeps me very, very busy these days and I haven't had as much time as I'd like for my "fun" art and writing. I'm also not that inclined to share what I do create these days for a number of different reasons, so hopefully you understand.
People who are truly interested in me as a person or in my life as it is now can always find me via my blogs and social networking profiles, as I am quite active elsewhere online.
I'm not currently taking on any personal art commissions, as I'm focusing solely on my writing and professional creative future right now. I'm also not interested in any link exchanges or opportunities to show/sell my artwork elsewhere at this time, nor am I granting any permissions to use my artwork in tubes, stationery, crafts, or anything else along those lines. This is an indefinite state of affairs, I'm sorry to say. If that changes, you'll be the first to know.
Happy Birthday Shannon,
How beautifully the choir of the mountains
Sings to its rapt audience of blue!
As dancing down a corridor of fountains,
We toss in coins and make this wish or you:
Long may you love the loveliness of Earth!
And celebrate with joy your day of birth.
May your Birthday be special in every way
and as special as you are:
wishes you
Ven
